After many years of married life Akane had gotten used to some of Ranma's
little quirks, but one of his quirks was _not_ shedding hair all over the
place.  "Ranma?  Your hair..." said Akane to her husband with concern.

Ranma felt his head, a few strands coming out.  He poked his pigtail and
the whole thing came falling off leaving him with a large bald spot in the
middle of his head.  "I'm going bald!"

"But that's impossible!" cried Akane.  "You're only 26!  People don't go bald
at 26.  It just isn't natural."

"I don't know", replied Ranma.  "You didn't get a cooking flashback and
serve me one of your old recipes for lunch, did you?"

"Baka!" replied Akane.  Let's go see Dr. Toufuu.
...

"It's like this", explained Dr. Toufuu.  "Ten years ago your hair grew crazily
because of that dragon's whisker soup...."

"But that wore off!" replied Ranma.

Dr. Toufuu continued.  "You were warned that you'd run completely out of hair
if it kept growing, and you'd be bald at the age of 16.  Luckily, as you say, it
did wear off before that happened."

"Then what's happening to me?"

"Because it wore off before you used up 50 years of hair.  Instead, you only
lost 40."

"That's..."

"Oh come on, Ranma, it doesn't affect your life expectancy.  And you can
always change to a girl and bind your chest...."
