Illustration

I got my start illustrating with air-brushes, pen and ink, pencils, paint, watercolors, and pastels. These traditional tools will be with us for some time to come. Computers still can’t match the effect of thickly applied paint, or the gestural look of a pencil rendering. But, to be honest, most of my paints and inks are completely dried up, though I’ve recently started painting a series of large compositions in my spare time (what little I have!).

The artwork displayed here was created in applications like Strata StudioPro, Autodessys form-Z, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and others.

The 3D models can achieve startlingly real effects. This is an area I’ve been working in since 1994. Some projects include an interactive CD-ROM and 3D modeling used in web-pages for Cisco Systems, Inc, I’ve also used Adobe Photoshop for numerous photo-collages for Radius, Applied Materials, Philips Electronics, and others.

Other illustrations meant for use on the Internet are available in the “Web-Sites” section. Please visit there as well.
