General information about BellAtlantic

Bell Atlantic's toll-free number is 1-800-475-7840. Choose option 1 and then 1 again.

Also known as gnilink.net.

17 April 2000: Spammer is spamming attacks on a greeting card site and advertisements for their competing site.

16 July 1997: LibidoX has joined Bell Atlantic.

8 July 1997: Bell Atlantic now holds the world single-day spam record: BI=15,653

7 July 1997: Bell Atlantic has blown all previous spam records completely out of the water. BI = 46,316. Full headers were over 19 megabytes, and are available in gzipped form for anybody who really wants to see them. Full headers report has been limited to 10,000 lines due to disk space limitations. I expect full UDP to be reinstated pretty soon if this keeps up.

1 July 1997: Bell Atlantic has finally responded. UDP is called off. See message <5p9469$c1c@feedme.news.iswest.net> for more info.

30 June 1997: UDP is underway.

25 June 1997: UDP is currently under discussion. See message <5ovjih$pdc@feedme.news.iswest.net>
