There seems to be no better way to stop the inappropriate ads for web sites than not allowing a customer to spam Usenet, even from accounts with other providers. No matter how much providers like Holonet squirm and posture, the fact remains that they are profitting from their customers' net abuse. Maybe it took pointing out that while Jerry Reynolds hides behind phony users names, posting from dial up accounts through open ports, Corpcomm was a sitting target. But something has to be done about everest.vol.it. It's a major conduit for high volume spam. -Mike "XOR is your friend" Barry- -- For that special someone: | Wanted: Large quantities of clues and sales@answerme.com | conscience suitable for corporate info@4secrets.com | applications. secrets@answerme.com |
