Let me explain from the beginning. I work for a company named Octagon
Technology Group as a Web Developer. Octagon builds web sites and processes
orders received over the Internet. David Mann called Octagon wanting a web
page made and orders processed from that web page. He was sent a contract
which he signed and returned. His account was assigned to an Octagon
employee (not myself) that then made the page and set up the order
processing scripts. Mailto links in these pages were set up to go to
amber@otginc.com which were then redirected to David Mann's e-mail account
at Hotmail by Octagon's mail server. After this work was completed David
Mann contracted with spam companies to send out his spam e-mail without
Octagon's help.

Octagon received e-mail that Amber Marketing was not shipping their
customer's orders. Octagon contacted David Mann who told us that he was
unable to get the shirts made. Octagon then issued all of Amber Marketing's
customers a refund and removed the web pages.
