Elena Higgins
Singer songwriter Elena Higgins reaches back into her ethnic origins to draw strength from her ancestors by integrating Polynesian, Celtic and Afro-American music, to produce a startlingly fresh and vibrant musical style.

She has a unique guitar technique as she plays a right handed strung guitar, left handed, which blends beautifully with her strong voice.

Her experience of working at a Correctional Centre in Townsville has motivated her to seek to inspire indigenous people to further develop their wonder musical and artistic gifts. Her mission for music is to perform to audiences around Australia and in overseas festivals with the belief of empowering people to empower themselves. Her strengths are noticeable when she plays the acoustic guitar. Her passion and powerful voice are experienced by anyone who listens to her sing and perform.
