The beach near my home. The water is cold, around 50F. No place for swimming—surfers use wet suits—but good water for Dungeness crab and wild Pacific salmon.
Another view of the beach, looking north this time instead of west. You can see the cliffs curving to form Half Moon Bay. That is the fishing village of Princeton barely visible on the horizon.
