Welcome to:
Der Maerchenerzaehler's
Submission information page

Submission Guidelines:

Please don't submit stories that you didn't write. Ask the author to submit it.

The rating system for the stories on this site will be similar to the American Movie Rating system:

  1. Please. Do NOT submit MS Word docs, they will be returned. Text (.txt) [prefered], Rich Text (.rtf) [if you must], or HTML files only.
  2. There are now three ways to submit your story.
    1. Standard email --
Submission by Email If you use this method, please send your story as an attachment, not in the body portion of your email. Be sure to start your email subject header with: "[Story Sub]" and what genre the story is is in.

      example:
[Story Sub]Oh What Tangled Webs - (Power Rangers)

In hopes of speeding up the process of adding stories to the library we have created a series of templates for your use. Just pick the one most appropriate to your needs, right click with your pointing device <G>, choose "Save Link Target As", and save the file to the directory of your choice. After you do so, you can then use the template to submit your stories.

      1. Unspecified Story Genre Template
Use this one if there is no specific template for you to use.
      2. Power Rangers Series Story Template
      3. Power Rangers Standalone Story Template
      4. Ranma Story Template
      5. Tenchi Story Template

    2. Submission form --
If you choose this method, just click here Story Submission and follow the form's instructions.
NOTE: There is roughly a 1 meg (32,700 characters, including spaces and hard returns) limit to what can be submitted this way.
    3. Direct upload --
Is now working properly...we hope *sigh*
If you choose this method, just click here Upload Submission and follow the form's instructions
  3. Please spell, grammar, everything check all submissions <G>, and send them as clean HTML or straight text. HTML is much preferred.
Nobody is perfect. Some mistakes and/or typos are excusable. BUT, I have a low threshold for spelling/grammar/punctuation mistakes. If I return a story asking you to resubmit after going through it, don't take it personally, but as constructive criticism.
  4. Please indicate in the subject line of your message that this is a story submission and whether it is Power Rangers, Star Trek, Batman Beyond <G>, Star Wars, Man From Uncle, Space 1999, Big Bad Beatleborgs, etc. If it is a crossover, please, indicate that as well.

    Example
SUBJECT: Story Submission - PR/MfU/MK Crossover - The Stitch in Time Affair
(The person who actually writes a creditable story crossing these three fandoms will get a Special Notice on the site!)

  5. In the body of your email, please give me a brief synopsis (1 short paragraph please) of the story. A teaser will suffice, but a synopsis is much prefered.

I reserve the right to refuse any story that does not fit the criteria listed above. PLEASE do NOT let the copy submitted to me be your only copy. If anything happens to my site, there is NO guarantee that everything will have been backed up.
