IC Chip Designer |

| I've
been in
the semiconductor business for a long time. Much of my work has been
designing
phase-locked loop circuits for disk drives, and since you're using a
computer
to read this, you probably can relate to hard disks!
A few years back,
I
changed to
working with audio chips, with the goal of having that company's hifi
sound product on your PC's multimedia card or in your home or car
stereo. My next position
involved 30-60MHz analog-to-digital converters in imaging (digital
copiers). My current position finds me back in audio ICs. I've been involved with audio electronics pretty much all my life, even as a kid. Outsie of my regular job, I even helped construct and operate a 24-track recording studio a number of years back. That was great fun, took a lot of time and energy, and taught me a lot. |
